My name is Theresa Maguire. I am very fortunate to be the owner of Fusion Pilates. I am a certified Personal Trainer, Weight trainer and Pilates Teacher. I believe that in order to have a fulfilling, healthy life we must have a balance of mental and physical strength. By training with a focus on mobility, flexibility and functionality we create a foundation for a healthy, long life. I believe we should love who we are, what we have and fight hard for what we want. But most importantly we should have fun every step of the way!

Melissa Nagai began her fitness career in 1993 after having competed in the Canadian National Aerobics Championships the year before. Aerobics came naturally as Melissa had spent 15 years of her youth doing Highland Dance and Scottish Country dance. Today she continues instructing everything from step, body sculpting and bootcamp classes to Spinning classes and Pilates.
About 6 years ago Melissa was looking for an activity of her own to do besides her instructing. That activity was Pilates, but being a participant was short lived. Soon she was instructing those classes as well. Seeking further training Melissa found Emmie Li, under whom she has been training since 2006. Currently Melissa is a BCRPA certified Pilates and Group Fitness Leader as well as a Pilates Method Alliance certified instructor.
Pilates has helped to correct imbalances, back and shoulder pain in Melissa's body and she loves that it can be forever challenging. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge with current and future clients.
Joyce Suen's Pilates journey started in 2002 as someone simply looking to try something new. As it turned out it became a huge part of her life. Since then she has completed over 600 combined hours of training, learning and observing the art of Pilates. She has successfully completed the Teacher Certification from Pilates Method Alliance (US based non-profit organization with international recognition) as well as from the BCRPA as a Pilates Fitness Leader. It is Joyce's endeavour to continue on this journey in the hopes of inspiring and motivating others and to spread the "goodness" that Pilates has instilled in her life.
